DJ FRESH
(real name Thato Sikwane) is a South African disc jockey who became known first for his breakfast slot on radio station YFM (which he hosted for eight years) and later as the host of the Drive Time (16h00 - 19h00) on 5FM.

DJ Fresh has 13 house albums under his belt and has shared the DJ booth with a number of international artists, including "Little Louie" Vega, Frankie Knuckles, Armad Van Helden and Dominic Spreadlove and played in Southport in 2000 and at the legendary Pacha in Ibiza in 2002.

He was also part of a team of DJ's who performed at the Miami Winter Music Conference.

Apart from launching his company Big Dawg Productions, Fresh has established the DJ Fresh Annual Shcolarship programme, which awards tertiary scholarships to deserving students who cannot afford it.

ZAKI IBRAHIM
A Canadian neo-soul singer with a wide-ranging style that encompasses hip-hop and spoken word as well as jazz and world music. Born in Vancouver, British Colombia, she is the daughter of a South African father and a Scottish mother. While growing up she traveled back and forth from Canada to South Africa, where she spent a lot of time in Cape Town. She later based herself in Toronto and embarked on a musical career. Ibrahim co-founded the label District Six Music and made her commercial recording debut with Sh?: Iqra in Orange (2006), a ten-track EP. A couple years later she returned with Eclectica (Episodes in Purple) (2008), an eight-track EP released in association with the Sony Music subsidiary Red Ink Music. Her song "Money" was nominated for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the JUNO Awards in 2009.
